OMI Industries recently relocated its headquarters to 220 N. Smith in Palatine from Kemper Lakes. When looking for office space, OMI Industries identified its employees’ residences to find a central office location. Pam Scalise, project manager at OMI Industries, said the company found the city of Palatine to be an ideal fit because it is centrally located to expressways and the Palatine Metra Station.
When OMI discovered 220 N. Smith they found the building to have a boutique feel, which aligned with the company’s office space search. 220 N. Smith is a four story property is just over 100,000 SF with covered parking, downstairs retail, including a sushi and sandwich restaurant, nail salon, dry cleaner, and walking distance to downtown Palatine restaurants.
Scalise mentioned the new office added space to collaborate and gather. The company wanted to have a town hall to meet in and also designed booths for flexible workspaces and individual thought.“We enjoyed working with the entire Hamilton Partners team and are excited to be in Palatine,” said Scalise.
Hamilton Partners’ Partner Mike Rolfs said, “We are very excited to have OMI Industries join us at The Gateway Center at 220 Smith St in Palatine. We appreciate the confidence they have placed in Hamilton Partners and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”
